Sun MP has previously dedicated these roads through the use of Right of Way Dedication forms. This form of dedication may have dedicated something less than fee title (typically referred to as an Easement) for the roads. In September 2016, The Closet was notified their application was approved, conditional upon development of a Grant-in-Aid agreement between the Tohono O’odham Nation, a local government entity and their organization. The work is part of the approved FY 17 Capital Improvement Plan expansion of the GY WRF capacity from 4 to 6 MGD. Change Order No.4 will also incorporate engineering services for the design and construction administration of improvements to the solids handling equipment in the plant. These improvements are funded through the Council approved Five year rate plan. Incorporating the solids handling improvements to expansion project creates an efficient way of delivering concurrent projects within a facility.
