16-5765 17.5 ContractCONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE CORGETT WRF AERATION BASIN DOME REPLACEMENT AND ODOR CONTROL IMPROVEMENTS RECOMMENDATION: Approve the $1,267,677.65 construction contract with Hunter Contracting Company for the Corgett Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF) Aeration Basin Dome Replacement and Odor Control Improvements, the $350,000 budget transfer to the project and authorize the purchase order to be issued. PURPOSE: The Aeration Basin Dome Replacement and Odor Control Improvements construction project will replace the existing dome covering the aeration basin as well as refurbish and replace existing odor control equipment components. The project will immediately put in place corrective action in accordance with city of Goodyear adopted Building Codes and OSHA requirements.
