RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the acceptance of a Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) Drinking Water (non-matching) Grant for Planning and Design Technical Assistance in the amount of $19,760 and grant the City Manager or designee the authority to sign the agreement.
PURPOSE:
This item has been brought before Council to present the award of the grant, its purpose, and the City’s obligation associated with acceptance. The grant has been awarded as a part of WIFA’s Drinking Water Planning and Design Technical Assistance Program to fund a water blending analysis task which is a part of the Brine Wetlands Demonstration Project Design Concept Report (DCR) to be completed in November 2016. The grant deliverable will be the blending analysis report, which will be prepared by the firm contracted to complete the DCR, under the oversight and coordination of City staff. RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the use of budgeted Fleet Replacement funds in the General Fund and Water, Wastewater, and Sanitation Enterprise Funds for the purchase of vehicles to fulfill the FY16 Fleet Replacement Plan.
PURPOSE:
Resolution No. 08-1255, which became effective on October 22, 2008, requires all budgeted expenditures of $500,000 or more obtain Council approval before the issuance of a Purchase Order, Change Order, or Notice to Proceed. City Council approved the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 budget which included allocations for the replacement of 57 vehicles. PURPOSE:
The applicant, I-10 & Pebble Creek, LLC, 2922 Eastwood, LLC and Winco Foods, LLC, all represented by SCJ Alliance, is requesting approval of a preliminary plat for the Pebble Creek Marketplace to subdivide 25.16 acres into eight commercial lots for a commercial center anchored by a Winco Foods store, pursuant to the Pebble Creek Marketplace Planned Area Development (PAD). The lots will be accessed by way of two driveways off of McDowell Road and two driveways off of PebbleCreek Parkway. Staff finds that the preliminary plat is consistent with the land use, zoning standards, and technical requirements of the City’s Subdivision Regulations and the Pebble Creek Marketplace PAD.
