RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the $106,134 Contract Change Order No. 2 to the construction contract for D.L. Withers Construction to complete the construction of the Police Operations Facility.

 

PURPOSE:

Approval of this expenditure allows the city to execute the change order with D.L. Withers Construction to complete the construction services on the 20,910 square foot Police Operations Facility. This request for expenditure includes, but is not limited to items such as; security fencing, air/water station for police vehicles, a canopy over the command/SWAT vehicles, landscaping and completing the police decontamination room.
