RECOMMENDATION:
Accept 2013 Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDoHS) grant for $3,600 to fund three ballistic vests for the Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Program.

PURPOSE:
The City of Goodyear Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Program has been funded through the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDoHS) Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) since 2006. Reallocated funds have been awarded for the Goodyear program to enhance service and personnel safety by providing three new ballistic vests for our terrorism liaison officers.
