RECOMMENDATION:

ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 15-5732  15-1732 APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CITY OF GOODYEAR TITLE VI IMPLEMENTATION PLAN.

PURPOSE:

The City of Goodyear is the subrecipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds through the City of Phoenix and Valley Metro. As a subrecipient of federal financial assistance and to ensure compliance with the requirements of Title VI, the City of Goodyear is required to implement a Title VI Plan and submit updates to the City of Phoenix every three years as part of their Triennial Review. The contents of our plan follow the requirements and guidelines of FTA Circular 4702.1B - Chapter III, which is also meant to fulfill United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) regulations.
