Title
ERP THIRD-PARTY PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTRACT
body
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the expenditure in an amount not to exceed $715,200 for third-party project manager services for the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

PURPOSE:
Authorize the City to spend $715,200 ($676,000 for services and $38,400 for monthly expenses) to retain Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker, LLC (BerryDunn) to handle the project management of the ERP implementation. Due to the complexity involved in implementing an ERP system and the fact that the City has not implemented an ERP system in approximately 20 years, the City would benefit from utilizing the expertise of BerryDunn to ensure the successful implementation of the City's new ERP system. (Wynette Reed, Deputy City Manager and Dan Cotterman, ITS Director)
