RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the $1,731,091.06 contract for the construction contract with Felix Construction Company, Inc. for Filtration System improvements to the City of Goodyear 157^th Ave Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), and authorize the Purchase Order to be issued.

PURPOSE:

The execution of this contract will allow the City to proceed with the construction of the Filtration System Improvements at the City of Goodyear 157th Ave WRF.  The project will provide the basis for future filtration system facility expansion from 4 MGD to 6 MGD and allow for phased expansion up to 16.2 MGD (average day flow) facility buildout capacity in accordance with the current MAG 208 Plan.
