TITLE

DISBAND THE GOODYEAR CITIZEN CORPS COUNCIL

RECOMMENDATION:

Authorize disbanding the Goodyear Citizen Corps Council (GCCC) that was established on June 14, 2010.

PURPOSE:

The purpose for requesting this action is due because the GCCC has run its course.  The GCCC was initially set up to gain access to grant funding, more specifically SHGP grant funds.  Those funds have and are continuing to dwindle and become more competitive.  The GCCC has not been successful in obtaining grant funding.
