TITLE
AMEND USER FEE SCHEDULE BY ADDING BALLOT ARGUMENT FEE
body
RECOMMENDATION:
ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 14-1651 AMENDING MUNICIPAL USER FEE SCHEDULE BY ADDING NUMBER A.10 IN THE GOODYEAR MUNICIPAL USER FEE SCHEDULE ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION 10-1357 FOR A BALLOT ARGUMENT FEE; AND DESIGNATING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

PURPOSE:
With the upcoming November election, citizens have the opportunity to submit ballot arguments for or against the ratification of the General Plan and the Charter Amendment. Most cities charge a fee for citizens to submit these arguments. The primary reason for the ballot argument fee is to help recoup some costs associated with the translation to Spanish, printing ballot arguments
and administrative time. (Maureen Scott, City Clerk)
